While The Directory Experts Conference was born out of a desire to provide expert education on Active Directory, it evolved over the years to cover a broader scope of Microsoft identity and access management technologies. In 2009, Quest Software thought even bigger as they launched The Experts Conference for Exchange to run side-by-side with The Experts Conference for Directory & Identity.
Although the year’s biggest training event for Microsoft Directory & Identity – and now Exchange – technologies had a slightly different name, the charter remained the same – advanced training for the experts, by the experts.

The Experts Conference Europe 2009
September 14-16, 2009 | Berlin, Germany
Prior to 2009, the last time The Experts Conference (TEC) had come to Europe was 2007, when Quest brought the Directory & Identity event to Brussels, Belgium. With its exciting new destination – Berlin, Germany – and a whole new event timed simultaneously – TEC for Exchange – The Experts Conference Europe delivered on its promise to be one of the best European technology training events ever.
